This is a re shoot I took while working on my 3rd board. I am trying to portray the silence and ways that people may react to the situation and by that hiding under shelter to avoid being shamed out and almost being ashamed being 'black' or 'Polynesian'. The second photo that is shown is a edit that I did on the same photo but added in pink to link in with my first and second board showing the stereotype where pink is a girl colour but my models are young men.
This is a trial photo as  I want to have more light to show that my models is under the sheets and more likely to show their shadows and be able to add the pink in once again but making sure that their shadow are still visible.

I have posted up some of my ideas of what I plan to do on my third board but because I changed my bottom half of my panel 2, I will change some of my planning.
The first Photo shows the work that I have done on my second board. I have used Mark Rothko on top and partly in the middle of my board.
I have now removed the photos on the bottom board and worked more on it. I have taken out the third row photo because I thought it was too much and have moved my bottom photos upwards more. I have used six photos on the bottom adding some splash of pink in and out of the photo using it as a frame. I have used three little pixilated photos from other photos to sink in with my final photo on my 2nd board. The bottom photos show my work in progress.

Before I started on my third board, I decided to do some planning. in my third board I will be using a lot of Idris Khan technique and using a lot of black and white as my two main colours and slowly adding other sorts of shades.
I will start by taking photos of my models and putting photos on top of each other. i have started to take photos of them while they are in the process of sitting and standing u and always lying down and get back up.

On my second board I am using Mark Rothko. By being able to use Rothko I will in large my photos that have pink, yellow and blue on it to make it look like his work. I am aiming to make it blury. at the moment I am looking at some work that Kelston Boys high have done and also understand the work that I am doing. My next step is to learn how to in large and make my photos blury on photoshop.

Panel 1 Done
I have put a black border around my first 6 photos where I have zoomed in to be able to start framing my subject and to show my intention. I have used voyerism in which I took these photos without the people in it knowing. My next 6 photos I have just spreed them out and decided to re frame the next few photos and ended it with two individual photos on the bottom of my first panel.

This is the start of my Photography board. I am still using the music room as my main scene. I have started to take photos through things where they have no idea i am taking photos of them to describe 'voyersim'. My next step is to take photos where they can see me and that they know, and then slowly going back to taking photos through things again. I will hopefully add a keyhole through my photos.

Idris khan was born in 1978 and is a artist based in London.
Khan is a stalker, both in the sence of the hunter and the very devoted fan.
Idris Khan's work relates to the word 'voyersim' and so i want to use Khan's to explain how people everyday anywhere and everywhere in the world experience racism and most people ignore and pretend like its not happening and people also watch it like its a movie but to know that its a real life thing happening i our society.

Here are some of Idris Khan's work:

These are photo I took last week and today. I have took photos in the music rooms to portray a story. In some of the photos i have took photos during a Yr 9 class, and today I have changed the tables to how it use to be. I have put both photos i took last week and today all in a contact sheet.
I have started taking photos of the music room because through my board I am telling a personal yet social story and it all started in the music room.
My next step will be to expand my ideas on what i want to do next.

Definition of Racism

The belief that all members of each race possess characteristics, abilities, or qualities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.

Work in progress (photography and art cont.)

This is a different one and I'm still working with the flax. I put full flax on the straight timber side and streaded it a little bit.

Work in progress (photography and Art students)

The top photo is when my group and I got the drawing and the bottom on is where we added our own work in. In the bottom one I added and darkened the petal looking things, which is flax going around the timber and shading and putting shredded flax down the other side of the same triangle, of the flax going through the timber.

-Anthony Caro-

Anthony Caro was born in New Malden, England and is the youngest of three and who comes from a Jewish family. Caro went to school at Charterhouse School where he was introduced to Charles Wheeler by his housemaster. Came the holidays Caro studied at the Farnham school of arts and then went to the University for the Creative arts and used to work in Wheelers studio. Later after that, he then earned a degree in engineering at Christ College, Cambridge.
Caro encountered modernism, when he was working as an assistant to Henry Moore in the 1950s. Later on being introduced to American sculptor David Smith in the 1960s, he then abandoned his work he did earlier and started constructing sculptures by welding or bolting together pieces of steel, such as I-beams, steel plates and also meshes. When the piece is done, it is usually painted in bolted flat colour.

-Alice Aycock-

Alice Aycock was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, November 20 1946. Aycock studied at Douglass College in New Brunswick, New Jersey and she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1968. After Aycock graduated with her degree, she then moved to New York to do hew masters at Hunter College, where she was supervised and taught by Robert Morris and graduated in 1971s with her masters. Aycock's early sculptures were site-specific and were made from wood and stone and then later on in 1980s she used steel.
Alice Aycock's drawings and sculptures of architectural and mechanical fantasies exist intersections of logic and imagination. In the early days, Aycock focused on associations and environment.
Alice is an artist who successfully navigates the transition from minimalism and postmodernism.

Shelter

These are some shelter that I found in the Internet and what Shelter looks and means to me. Shelter to me is family and friends and some of these photos are places where you can connect with family and friends where you can just chill, for example camping.
